Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of what-software.com and any related demo-request functionality (together, the "Service"), operated by What Software ("What Software", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing this website or requesting a demonstration of What Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, in which case "you" refers to that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

What Hub is a cloud-based software platform that enables manufacturers, importers, and distributors to create, publish, and manage Digital Product Passports, including public passport pages accessible via QR code or NFC tag, and a management platform for product, lifecycle, and organisational data.

This website provides information about What Hub and allows prospective customers to request a demonstration. Access to and use of What Hub itself as a customer is governed by a separate order form and/or master services agreement between What Software and the customer; these Terms apply only to your use of this marketing website.

3. Permitted Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems, or any related network
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website, including through bots, scrapers, or other automated means not expressly permitted
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your communications with us
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or access-control measure protecting this website

4. User Responsibilities

If you submit information to us through this website or by email, you are responsible for ensuring that information is accurate and that you have the right to share it with us, including, where applicable, the consent of any person whose personal data you provide.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any communications between you and What Software arising from your use of this website.

5. Intellectual Property

The website, including its content, design, graphics, logos, and the What Software and What Hub names and marks, is owned by What Software or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as necessary to view and use the website for its intended purpose, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the website without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

This website relies on third-party services to operate, including Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps for hosting and, where you have given consent, Google Analytics for website analytics. These services are provided under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.

7. Disclaimer

This website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, What Software disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the website or its content, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, What Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website, even if What Software has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data in connection with this website is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, our practices, or applicable law. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Your continued use of the website after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which What Software is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

12. Contact Information
